Cosmic Melody

There's mind-blowing activity thundering on
inside each minuscule atom,
billions of them linking up
to make DNA and RNA,
which line up in ultra-precision to produce
cells,
tissues,
nails,
hair,
blood,
bones,
the whole mind-blowing inventory that
makes a newborn child yell lustily,
luxuriating with its first, intoxicating
gust of oxygen...
